For many years the British round completes a world championship, being the final cut of the outgoing season. Sometimes the destiny of champion’s titles decides on the roads of Wales; but often the answer is being found before, and then the British rally turns into a pure sport, without mixture of tactical or strategic tricks. In any case, the rally, as a very popular sport in the UK, attracts many thousands of fans.
Naturally, all of them are greeting the crews performing at iconic British MINI Coopers with great enthusiasm. As in recent years, Eurolamp WRT is the only striking force of the brand, our drivers preparing to start in this rally with great pleasure, considering it a kind of ‘home’. This is understandable because the Prodrive, company developed a modern MINI JCW rallycars, is British as well.
Meanwhile, the Wales Rally GB isn’t a cakewalk. The narrow roads can every minute turn from swampy to icy or back, and it becomes the strongest challenge both for the cars and the people. Remembering that this mixture can be ‘decorate’ by the unpredictable British weather, one can understand why the final WRC round often named as a hardest event of the whole year.
