Between stages of World Rally Championship the teams rebuild their cars. This work includes the planned replacement of the units which passed its recourses, culling of certain elements, exchange of tech fluids and some other procedures.

It looks very ordinary if all works are performed in conditions of permanent team’s base. But what a team can do if the car, which had passed full distance of Rally Mexico, was loaded into container and, without visit to home, was sent to Argentina?

The mechanics of Eurolamp WRT arrived to Argentina beforehand to prepare the car for the race. The works started on Saturday morning, April 16, and lasted till Monday midday, when the mechanics began the setup of team’s service and the scrutineering preparations. What had been done during two and a half days:

– new fuel line setup, in accordance with the new technical requirements;
– full rebuild of shock absorbers (disassembly, inspection, cleaning, culling, assembly);
– full rebuild of suspension’s elements (levers, subframes, ball joins and so on;
– exchange of all tech fluids;
– repair of body’s elements, damaged during the race in Mexico.
