Other things being equal, the oversea races demand from the teams to solve some difficult problem– a logistic problem. That is how to deliver over ocean not only race car but also all things to service the car during the race fully and efficiently.

As many other teams Eurolamp WRT solved this task sending all stuff to Mexico by container. Let’s explore some very interesting facts about that.

Container was sent last year – on December 28.

The contents of container includes:
– 2 cars: for the recce (Mitsubishi Lavcer Evo) and for the race (MINI Cooper WRC)
– all necessary spare parts, components and assemblies: from shock absorbers and suspension arms to elements of bodywork and metalware;
– all necessary toolkits and equipment: from turn-screw to jacks
– tents and service furnitures
– household appliances: from housewares to microwave oven

Container size (LxHxW): 12,4х2,4х2,6 м.

Container gross weight: more than 10 tons.

During the race the container will be used as service workroom.
