On Thursday, April 27, in Argentina 5th round of World Rally Championship started in Argentina. In the morning the shakedown took place, after that on the evening the participants of YPF Rally Argentina opened the main program of the event on the short spectator stage in Cordoba.

During morning warm-up the crew of Eurolamp World rally Team overcame the testing stage five times. And each next their attempt was better than previous one. So Valery Gorban and Sergey Larens occupied 13th row in the shakedown list results.  In the evening on the 1.75-kilometers super special stage, Super Especial Cordoda, the duo of Eurolamp WRT was 17th.

But all of this was only introduction. The real Rally Argentina will begin on Friday only. The first real day of the rally will contain 140 kilometers of 8 special stages. The distance of Saturday’s part of the event is longer – it’ll be 160 kilometers, including two passes of the longest special stage of the rally, 40-kilometers Los Gigantes. And the crews who will be still on the rally on the Sunday’s morning, will have to pass another 55 kilometers of 3 special stages to be on the finish.
