    Dual Challenge
    07.05.2018

For the Ukrainian Eurolamp World Rally Team the next two weeks will be filled with racing events. After a long pause, the Estonian Rally Championship will host the stage in its own country. Two previous races on the snow and ice surface were held in neighboring Latvia.
The crew of Valery Gorban and Sergei Larens has reached the third stage as leaders in the final standing. Now their challenge is to maintain the leadership and to score the highest. In addition to Egon Kaur, a winner of the second stage, Georg Gross, a three-time absolute rally champion of Estonia, will join the fight for the championship with his WRC Ford Fiesta. Jukka Hiltunen’s crew from Finland will also be taken into account, as it was the fastest here in 2008.
No doubt, those who have already gone on their marks in Tallinn will get an edge. In contrast, the Ukrainian-Estonian crew will debut in this joint race. For Sergei Larens, a co-driver of the crew, it may be a bit easier, as this race will take place locally and will be the fourth for him.
The race will be held during two days: on Friday, May 11, there will be opening and driving through three special stages, and on Saturday, May 12, the main race will decide the fate of Tallinna Ralli Gold Awards.
Our crew will also travel to Latvia and take part in the third stage of the Latvian Rally Championship held in the city of Talsi on May 18-19.
