Eurolamp WRT crew liked the first Friday special stage of the race. But during second part of the day the problems of Ukrainian duo started just on this stage.

«It was very impressive speedy stage. It was like we didn’t not drive a car but flied on an airplane. We enjoyed the stage run», — told Vladimir Korsia after the special stage Chmielewo which had opened the day race program. Next stages of morning section were longer and more difficult, and it gave less reasons for nice allegories. But despite of tire puncture during SS5 the crew arrived exhausted but in good mood to midday service.

The second half of the day  was expected to be more difficult because of deep ruts which had appeared after the first pass of stages during the morning section. On the other hand, Valery Gorban and Vladimir Korsia were going to increase pace thanks to improving theirs pace note. But unfortunately the second run of jumpy SS Chmielewo was unpleasant for the crew.

After one of the jumps the rear suspension was broken after that it was not easy for the crew to hold the car on the road. To reach the finish was very difficult task too. As a result, one more minute had been lost at the stage. Fortunately, there were all needed spare parts aboard, so the crew could repair the car themselves and continued the race.

Finally, the day was ruined during penultimate stage when two rims on MINI Cooper WRC were bent because of huge loads. Moreover, the rims began to destroy some suspension elements. So the crew was forced on finding a solution to the problem – Ukrainian duo overcame the last special of the day with two right wheels on their car.

On Friday, after ten special stages, Valery Gorban and Vladimir Korsia occupied 29th row of the intermediate Rally Poland results list.
