On Thursday morning during the breakfast the members of Eurolapm WRT found an oddball way to wish the lucky race to Rally Finland participants. The wishes were written on hard-boiled eggs and read “Mä oon ralleissa”.

Taking into consideration their previous years experience Valery Gorban and Vladimir Korsia had no doubts about necessity for all the crews to have a piece of luck. And during the shakedown they could check it again. During landing after one of the jumps they broke a propshaft on Ukrainian MINI Cooper WRC.

«We will try to find the reason of propshaft issue and to know either this problem ties to high load at the transmission during rear wheels landing or it was a manufacture defect. If we don’t find the precise answer we will be forced to update our jump manner and jump less aggressively», — said Valery Gorban during the service.

Unfortunately the team couldn’t find the reason of the problem. But the car was completely and on time recovered. So the crew could overcome the first stage of the race, superspecial Harju, and on Friday they will continue the race – definitely with hope on luck.
