Final day of Wales Rally, unlike previous two days, didn’t bring any problems. to the crew of Eurolamp WRT.

After all outlived troubles – jamming in a ditch on Friday and the engine overheating on Saturday – Valery Gorban and Vladimir Korsia dropped out of fourth dozen of the intermediate rally classification. The penalty for the missed special stages counted more than 40 minutes. So all that the crew could do that was to overcome last six stages of the rally without mistakes and to pleasure. And they did. In the final rally classification Ukrainians occupied 38th row.

«It is a shame that we couldn’t overcome all special stages, but this is rally. The main difficulty for us was that we had made our pacenotes when the roads had been dry, but the rally run on wet, muddy and slippery roads. As a result, it was impossible to predict conditions of rally roads’ surface at one moment or other. But that was additional experience to our baggage of knowledge», — resumed Vladimir Korsia.

For Eurolamp WRT Wales Rally was the last rally in current season of World Rally Championship. The team is going to make detailed analysis of 2016 season and start preparations for the next one. The information about 2017 plans of Eurolamp WRT will be reported additionally soon.
